A Boy and His Duck

We still miss Caesar every day, but fresh happiness is on its way in the form of a new puppy who will be old enough to come home with us next week. In the meantime, Brownie the Duck is proving to be surprisingly comforting. Hope is indeed the thing with feathers.

Moving On

Caesar’s absence still haunts us; we miss him every day. But life moves on, and so does the school year. I present to you a newly minted sixth grader:
