Sage’s first onstage moments at his recent Christmas concert were tense ones as he scanned the audience, desperate to locate a familiar face. All’s well that ends well, though: He located his family and belted out his tunes happily, secure in the knowledge that pitch is optional and lyrics are mutable as long as one sings with enthusiasm.
As lovely (well, adorable) as the concert was, the highlight of Sage’s evening occurred when he got home, and his father peeled a clementine for him. The resulting peel was unbroken and curled delicately at the ends to form an elongated “S.” Sage was THRILLED and demanded a photo for posterity. So, to honor his oddly adamant request, here it is: the Orange “S.” Art comes in many forms…
A sensational story with a capital “S.” Sage at his finest and you to record it all.
I’m hoping my blog helps compensate for my being too lazy to keep a scrapbook of childhood memorabilia for Sage… Thanks as always for your supportive comments, and happy New Year to you! Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Tablet

Of course Paul is handy with a citrus; that’s why I married him! Happy New Year to the family of Walsh! Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Tablet
